That black insert into intake manifold is just about impossible to remove without breaking it into pieces so leave that alone.

Just replace the O-ring inside and the red clip that comes with the black insert when you buy P/N 55557389

Those red clips and O-ring goes bad all the time and I replace them on a regular basis.
