Those are quite a bit out there. I have no experience with that brand but I have had this happen a few times over the years. I have connected the expansion valve then tweaked it some to minimize the spacing from the firewall but maybe not all the way to make sure you don't kink the lines like your afraid of. But I would highly recommend connecting expansion valve first otherwise they will bend differently and it will be extremely hard to get on the expansion valve if that happens. I always pray to the Saab gods before attempting to install an aftermarket evaporator. As I said above it has happened before and its a pain. Good Luck, Bernie
