How long have you had this car? I feel like that behavior could be normal. Of course 1st and 2nd are torque limited, and 3rd is typically a longer run so the tiny intercooler is overwhelmed pretty quickly in warm weather.
You can improve things greatly by upgrading to a larger intercooler and an aftermarket turbo-back system. No tune needed. I ran mine that way for a while before deciding on a tune and was quite surprised with the improvement from just the hardware. The output was VERY consistent from run to run.
If you've had the car for a while and feel this is a sudden change, you could try replacing the MAF. My Viggen has 155k on it and I'm on my third MAF currently.
I don't believe the platinum plugs have ever been recommended for this car.
Lastly if you're popping vacuum lines that is probably something to look into.
