i've checked and replaced almost all obvious vacuum lines. For some reason the car's idle speed is very very low and thus close to stalling when put into Drive or Reverse.
The car has had a new throttle body installed and there was some reprogramming done with a Tech 2 just before i bought the car to update the ECM (or vice versa) to work with the new TB.
The programmer is going to try and raise the idle speed this weekend but said it can only be raised by 50 RPM and i'm not optimistic that is going to be enough.
Should i get a smoke test done, or can we narrow this down to an electronic component like the boost valve or purge valve based on the code?
