2001 9-3 base, 140K
My CEL is on and codes P0100, P1312, P1334, P0340 come back. Car starts / drives fine with no perceived issues.
Research of prior posts on the P1312, P1334, P0340 suggest an new DIC is required. Current one is a black genuine Saab unit with ~90K miles and 15 yrs. on it, correct NKG platinum plugs have about 42K in them. I have a spare new genuine unit, so I will put that in with fresh plugs.
I see no prior posts on this board about the P0100 MAF sensor circuit. I see many on the 9-5 board. Is P0100 not a common issue on the OG 9-3? Is it worth the effort to clean sensor and plugs contacts to clear code or is a new unit in order? (sensor had been cleaned maybe 3 times over prior 140K with MAF spray cleaner) Or is it time for a new MAF sensor? Thoughts.
Thanks.
