car is at 200,000 kms all original powertrain.
the car goes like stink at all times, either cold or hot.

I live in Calgary and the car has no issues while it is 'cold' but after driving for 15-20 minutes
when i let off the gas (entirely, not partially) to take a corner or to coast before braking to stop at a light the OP light comes on and the alarm chimes within 1-3 seconds of taking my foot off the gas. NB pressing the brake pedal doesnt cause the alarm - simply letting off the gas entirely causes it.

about a year ago a new throttle body was installed that was programmed with a Tech 2 to match the car and then a software update was done due to similar issues i am now having. I then bought the car and my son drove it for almost a year before the most recent problems started. The seller is my mechanic and he filled me in on the recent history and actually has serviced the car since it was almost new and gave me all the records.

when these most recent issues started, the car was stalling along with the oil pressure light issue and the bing bong. A friend with tech 2 raised the engine idle about 100rpm. that didnt solve the problem. i suspected a vacuum issue however the transmission also seems to almost shudder and vibrate when engine RPM drops and OP light goes off.

I also got the Bypass Valve code while i was test driving it trying to solve this problem (son got an Escape to drive) and so replaced the BPV. Also the car had a Denso or some other japanese Exhaust Purge valve wired to it which i replaced with a correct Saab junkyard part.

replacing those two parts, stalling is now not an issue, just the oil pressure issue.

currently only getting U0600 which is a general system communication error that could be related to the ECM having trouble with a peripheral component such as the TB.

Mechanic and i are wondering if we need to take off the oil pan and check for sludge in the pickup screen however why would oil pressure light issue not happen earlier, when the oil is cold?

i also read while combing the archives to try and clamp off the brake booster but this car has hard lines from the BB to the intake so you can't clamp them off. and i dont think its the cause of the problem. i dont hear any vacuum hissing from under the dashboard either.

A real head-scratcher ...
Thanks in advance for any advice.
