The only advantage to the "poly" bushings is that they're easily replaceable and you don't need an alignment except after the first time you replace them. You may notice that all of the kits, regardless of the brand, include the same bushings made by RAMCOA (Research and Manufacturing Company of America). The reason I put poly in quotation marks is because that's not really what it is. It's definitely a plastic, but not polyurethane. If you stick with rubber bushings, you have to replace the entire inner tie rod on both sides, and doing that will definitely require an alignment.
