So I purchaesed the aviation fuel bladder sealant cost about $31 delivered.
its a 2 part injection syringe sorta device. there are youtube vids that show you how to mix it and then extrude it from the syringe nozzle.
I prepped the fuel hose with a cleaning of isopropyl alcohol , then roughed up the surface with fine sandpaper, then again cleaned the area with the alchohol. Taped around the area to be patched with blue tape. then squeezed out a layer of the sealant onto the area. then applied a mesh of fiberglas onto the seal, followed by another layer of sealant smoothed out. 10 min later I removed the blue tape. It dries to a flexible hardness over night.
I checked the clearance again and it was still being rubbed by the tire. Yhe hose has a little horizontal "wag"/play to it which allows it to com in contact with the tire side.
I got some thick UV one way ties and was able to go around the hose and secure the tie with another one way tie that rounded thru holes in the inner frame member -pulling it tight to the inner fender wall.
Its not alot of clearance but seems to keep the hose off the tires-eliminating the hose wag and allowing the verticle movement of the bouncing tire.
Hope it lasts a long time
End of story- i think.
