Hello,
Go to SID with the Tech 2. Check under read values there should be a data line for steering wheel button which tells you which button was pressed and steering wheel control line which shows a voltage from 0-5v. The voltage should change when you press a button. The buttons are a series of resistors so each button gives you a different voltage. Also there is a horn button value that shows on or off.
