Hello,
If I have to call get parts on an 2003 9-3 convertible I tell them the car is a 2002. There is no difference between 2002 and 2003 parts that you are getting from a parts store. Saab/Valmet did not make any updates to the mechanical portions of the car in those 2 years. Good Luck, Bernie
