The shift lever has suddenly got difficult to move side to side. No problem with gear selection (fore and aft), just gate selection.I've sprayed the ball in the linkage with PB Blaster and silcone and the problem goes away but comes back which leads me to think something else is going on. Any thoughts would be appreciated. Also where could I find a diagram of the linkage? I confess I'm a diehard c900 guy (8 running cars) but this car was given to me with only 87K miles so I think it's worth fixing.
