Not likely but maybe deadlocked? If driver side lock is horizontal, that is, the key is used to lock the door and turned 90° instead of 45°, you won't be able to unlock the passenger door in any way.
It's not clear to me if you can get the key all the way in but you've probably already tried blasting it with a lubricant like Houdini or wd40. You could try rolling the window down and inserting a 3mm or less rod, coat hanger, into the space just behind the door button and manipulate or spray the workings down there. And this video just happened to appear, not a Saab but maybe an idea:
