I've been told that the oil pumps are pretty robust and are not prone to failure. Just because you replace the sensor doesn't mean it is not plugged up at the screen. I've already loosen the bolts on the oil pan so I am stuck with removing it. Maybe another night of PB Blaster will work but I doubt it. There is a guy on Youtube who removes the oil pan by jacking up the transmission and he doesn't say anything about lowering the subframe. He might have not filmed that part. Anyway, tomorrow is another day.
