Above all use common sense and be gentle. I posted the instuctions for this about a year ago, after I installed new speakers in my 95 900setc. So I will try and remember the steps... here goes.....
First, take the top down, it is much easier this way, push the front seat all the forward then flip them forward. Remove the bottom of the rear seat, there are screws, (hex I believe) you will need to get to that the seat cushion is hiding. I seem to remember the bottom portion of the seat just pulling out, kinda up and out, but check for screws and or release tabs. The goal is to remove the side panels in the rear, you can not just remove the speaker grill! Remove the hex screws holding the panel in on the bottom where the seat was, now flip the top portion of the back seat down and you should see more screws remove those also, I put a pad on the body where the top portion of the back seat touches so I could work on top of it without damaging the leather, I did not want the leather getting scuffed up on the metal where the bottom portion of the seat used to be. Ok, double check to make sure you got all the screws out from the sides and back of the panel, should be 3 or 4. Now you have to carefully pull back the rubber moulding, where the front door closes against the back of the door frame. This rubber moulding covers the front part of the rear panel, it is also hiding one or two more screws, I had to use a fine drywall screw to remove the pin holding the moulding push pin fastener in, when you see it you will understand what I am talking about. Take your time. I don't remember if the door sill cover needed to be removed or not. I removed mine because I was running new wiring, I don't think it needs to be removed for the panel itself. Now that all the screws are out, double check feel around with your hands to insure you got them all. The top, middle part of the rear panel is held down with a large push pin that you cannot see, insure the rear window is down and that the lower part of the cover pulls out slightly toward the opposite rear panel, pull it out a few inches, maybe 2 or 3 not far at all, now you have to force the panel up, as straight up as you can, you will hear the push pin slide or pop out. A few more things I just remembered, find a way to hold the seat belt out as this makes it much easier if the belt is slack, you will also notice that the rear map lights pop out, be careful, try and remove them by sliding your had underneath the panel they should pull right out. Now you should have the rear panel out, fun huhh? Its not as bad as it sounds, take your time, installation is the reverse. If you have any questions let me know. Good luck. Hope everything is spelled right.
