The $35 unit works well, so there is no reason to spend any more for anything else. The Abbott unit (threee ports) is a basic bleeder, and will not spool up as fast as the enhanced (ball and spring units. You can tell by the number of ports. And if your journey eventually takes you to a modified ECU, spending $35 on a MBC will not cost you any sleep.

Cone filters are great, but they must not be able to take in any air from under the hood. That rules out most configurations. Other than that, I have not seen the Abbott cone filter.
