There is a carbon canister located in the right side (USA passenger side) inner fender. It can be accessed by removing the plastic wheel well cover. There are vacuum hoses going to the carbon canister from the gas tank, from the carbon canister to a solenoid valve, and from the solenoid valve to the engine throttle body.
The carbon canister is supposed to absorb and retain the vapors from the fuel tank. When the engine reaches proper operating temperature, the solenoid valve opens allowing the engine vacuum to pull the vapors from the carbon canister and burn them.
Look for cracked/failed vacuum hoses and check that the soleniod valve opens and closes properly.
