i've had headlight issues before. most were related to bulbs, and i've even had intermittent functioning caused by a bad bulb (Sylvania Cool Blues)
the only other info i have for you is that the high beam indicator will not light up if only one high beam is working.
(also, i assume you checked fuses already)
