I seem to have a little problem hitting the enter button. The viscosity of 75/w90 is just about the same as 10w/30 so no, thats not it. To the best of my knowledge the synchronizers work with some use of friction. The oil that Tom and Townsendimports recommends is Amsoil 20w/50 engine oil. I inadvertantly put in Amsoil 75/90 and the tranny has a little grind to it going into third, if you shift quickly, if you shift slow no problem. This problem only surfaced after putting in the gear oil. I got the stuff out right away. Don't get me wrong the oil is good, it was just the wrong application. Should I be upset with Exxon if I put Diesel fuel in my gas tank and the car runs wrong? Soo anyway.... I can't really nail it down. When I get the chance I will put in the 20w50. I put the regular dino fluid back in and the grind has went away, mostly anyays.
regards,
Bryan
Ok, now I can hit enter.
