I hate to say it but it is a Abbott unit currently. The last time I directly talked to Abbott they seemed quite upset that I have had put on a Maptun system on my car. It seems that they were upset that I was not giving them free advertising on the "Saabnet". The major differance with my Abbott unit is that it give you more power in the rpms then the Maptun unit. This may not be safer but it sure does feels great.
Now last January I contacted Abbott about making a custom ECU. The unit had higher specs meaning a more aggresive fuel curve and could sustain higher amounts of boost then there normal units. The first unit did not work and then a second unit was made. The second unit worked incredible well but had some reliablity problems that have taken awhile to work out. Now it seems that almost everything is now working well. As far as the transmittion their is no problems to date. Have had the transmittion checked twice with no problems. I actually tried to replace the clutch and the reseal the transmittion a couple months ago and the mechanic talked me out of it. I think that was a first. The only noteable problem to date is actually the car breaks. The car is just fast and I need more stopping power.
