1996 Ford Taurus SHO!! My friend has been dying to prove
how quick his SHO was for quite some time. He's put in a
chip, has free-flow cat, aftermarket exhaust and a K&N
air filter. He boasts that he estimates his car to
have at least 240HP!!

It so happens that he swung by this Sunday and demanded that
we put our cars to the test. We set up at a stoplight and
agreed upon a distance (probably a little over a quarter
mile, it was actually an exit sign in the distance).

Go!! I started to pull away a little by the top of 2nd gear.
From then on it was history!! I must have beaten him by
at least 4 carlengths, honest! We had to slow down
somewhere around 80mph due to traffic up ahead. I don't
know if he would have caught me or not, but I now have
bragging rights. Man, he was pissed!!

Just thought I'd share that.
