well, actually those "stock stats" are off a bit. i read in car and driver magazine road tests that the stock 1996 saab 900 se turbo did a 15.5 1/4 mile and a 0-60 of 6.9 seconds.
i have a dawes manual boost controller running 15psi consistantly.
also have a cone filter located in the lower front area behind the foglight. the gtech is pretty accurate and it does measure speed...atleast this one. at the dragstrip earlier this year, i did a 14.6 @ 96.6mph.
and now that i have this boost controller running consistant boost, im sure 14.4 is somewhat accurate. im looking at the maptun ECU and the td04 hybrid turbo upgrade with the high flow intercooler. that combination will definately knock me into the 13s. not sure where to go after that though.
NOS ? im just worried about the tranny. there is no racing tranny available so if i drive too much HP to the trans, im SOL. :) anyway...i like the speed i have now. maybe i could lighten it somehow.
