Reverse doesn't always hold after removing key

When I park my 95 900 and pull the key, sometimes it doesn't hold the car if parked on an incline. The first time I was part way out the door when it started moving - real jumping /grinding sound like it's trying to grab. Noticed there is a slight amount of play in shift stick and needs to have an extra tap to lock. Have 100,000 miles - is this an adjustment or a new clutch? How about a switch? I didn't think I could remove the key unless it was all the way in reverse.
I know about this but if someone else drove it it could be dangerous.
