yea I still have the defroster and ive never had a leak of any type. Its even got the same double insulation the regular SAAB tops have, its been great in the winter. Until reading some recent posts I thought it was just a regular SAAB convertable top, but now I think it was either a backyard mechanic job, or some other sort of company making tops. It looks just like a regular SAAb top, with the warning label about putting it up with people in the back and all, the only thing is the rear window is velcro. I bought the car 2 years ago and its a '97 so I have no idea what the previous owner did, but it seems to work pretty well. Maybe the previous owner had trouble with the window comeing out and did a DIY replacement? Anyway, it seems to work REALLY well so maybe thats an option for some people out there, sew in some velcro to hold it it instead of glue.
