Yes, I have the same problem. I have been trying (unsuccessfully, at least with a long range solution) for about the last 2 years.
No, the glass is not glued on, but the gasket provides a very good seal. The heat from the bulb probably helps with the glue-like adhesion.
Anyway, the reflector element is held in three places (I seem to remember something in high school geometry about 3 points and a plane. ;^) But I digress). Two of those points are adjustable: 1 for vertical and 1 for hoprizontal. The third connection point is a ball-and-socket joint on the top inside of the headlight assembly. For me, this fixed connection is the one creating the problems. The socket portion is a plastic plug that pushes into the outer casing of the assembly (grey part) and has a socket with three slits molded into the side that houses the ball from the reflector lens. Basically the socket plug fatigues and no longer holds the ball securely. I checked with the local dealer and only the whole assebly is available from them.
I haven't had time yet but I am going to go to Napa and maybe the local import car part supplier with the socket in habd and see if they have anything that works. I might even look in a McMaster-Carr or Grainger catalog. I just haven't had time lately.
The latest of my attampted fixes was to apply JB Weld to the mis-behaving parts. It didn't work, but again I have not had time to open it up and take a look.
