On very cold mornings when I start my 97 900Se the check engine/check gear box lights come on and the car will only start out in in 3rd gear(winter mode). If I restart the engine, the tranny works fine. I disconnect the negative battery end for 3 minutes and the computer is reset and the lights are out. Could it be that the transmission solenoid is sticking in cold weather?
