I've got a '95 V6 that has been nothing short of a financial disaster. Others will tell you it's the best they've owned (granted, with some minor tribulations), but I, for one, would not drive a Saab again if it was given to me.

Mine has about 104,000 highway miles. Bought it at 57,000 for about $16,500. It's been in and out of the shop (mostly IN the shop) ever since. I'm talking THOUSANDS of dollars in REPAIRS! I have spent approximately $7,000 over the past 5 months for service (not counting necessary items like new brakes, oil and filter changes, etc.). After getting the car back from my mechanic last week, it broke down again (fuel pump). And I STILL have to fix the a/c condensor (for about $1,200) before summer arrives! So -- after all that money has been spent, my car still sits in my garage and will not start. I still make my monthly loan payments. I still pay my insurance premiums. But I'll be damned if I'm able to drive to the post office. I'm upside down on my loan and it certainly isn't in any condition to sell at the present time. I have always taken great care of the car. Unfortunately, I have a lemon. If you're a betting kind of person, keep the car. If you want some peace of mind, sell it while you still can.
