momo "s" shift knob

Does anyone know if I can fit this knob on my viggen? It is specifically designed for cars with the reverse lock feature. The bottom opening is large enough so the plastic reverse piece can lift up into the knob. What I really don't know is if the second smaller hole further inside the knob will be able to fit properly over the shifter rod? The second hole looks like it has the diameter of a 4 guage wire. Does our shifter rod have a bigger diameter than this? I just want to make sure it'll fit before I rip apart the stock knob. Thanks for the help.
