I spoke with the local dealer and they said the service and timing belt are free if done within 1500 miles (before or after) 95K. Unfortunately my car now has 102K. But they did say if I paid for the 95K service they would do the timing belt for free while they were at it. The service costs $560. I was told to plan on about $700 for a timing belt if I took it to a local garage so I guess the $560 is a better deal. I'm afraid to ask them to change the water pump and all those other things because of dealers' costs. Are there any ideas out there as to how I can get the most repair work done for the cheapest cost?
Thanks,
Aaron
