900s 1994 tire - alignment - drive torque confusion

When I accelerate my '94 900s pulls to right, when I decelerate (let engine slow car; let off gas in gear) car pulls to left. this seems to just have started recently (or at least got worse so I noticed). I have brand new tires and have swapped the two front tires left-t0-right to see if was a bad tire. I have had the car aligned. The alignment says frame is OK too. The alignment guy was giving me some stuff about since the axle on right was longer than axle on left, this can cause this phenomenon. My Saab guy says it should be tires if alignment is OK. Anyone experience this type effect? This is NG900s 1994 2.3ltr. Any ideas?
