external boost guage - which wire for power?

Installing an external boost guage this wknd. Which wire should I splice into for power?
On the light dimmer switch, there are five. Was it the red/grey one like I saw suggested in an earlier post?
For ground, should I just add it to the stack of ground wires on the frame just below the fuse box?
