Your insight would be greatly appreciated.
I have a 94 900SET with 115,000 miles.
Yesterday as I was driving back from work, the ABS dash warning light (and the red exclamation point) came on. This morning when I started the car, both lights where off. They both came back on after about 1 hour of driving or about 25 miles (there's lots of traffic going into work).
I have noticed that the abs system seems to be a lot more sensitive, meaning that when braking to park the car or when driving really slow and braking, it sometimes came on. But I couldn't really see a pattern.
This is 2 weeks after having completed repairs to the tranny.(I took it off and had it repaired after reverse gear had failed and put it back on myself). I did have to unplug the ABS sensors at one point. Maybe I missed something putting everything back together?
In your opinion, in a step by step fashion, what should I examine? (assuming that the abs sensors are indeed plugged in,... I have already checked ;-)
Thanks,
Serge.
