See my post below about stalling. I have associated this with re-fueling, and have read several similar problems on this BB, some of which appear to be nightmarish (see previous posts by "Pete"). Is your car of similar vintage (Year model 97, about 60,000). Changing the DI and plugs did not help. The dealer who did the work last week acknowledged that there was a problem since there were carbon deposits on the plugs.Like yours, my car is running rich and is occasionally producing a noticeable fuel smell when it stalls. I will be taking it again to the dealer tommorow. I will suggest that he checks the charcoal cannister and consider changing the FPR. If this does not resolve it, I will contact SAAB. The dealer seems to be confused, and I am concerned that this may be a difficult problem to fix. I am concerned about safety of driving the car as it stalled today just before entering the highway. I liver near Boston.
Regards.
By the way, I did reset the ECU by diconnecting the battery for 30 minutes, but this did not help.
