I have a '95 900s with 51k miles and manual A/C (no acc)- never had A/C problems and I have always run it several times during the winter. It was blowing cold as normal last Saturday but when I drove it next on Wednesday there was only warm air. When I press the A/C button I hear the compressor kick in and the engine rpm change like normal. I hear a quiet hissing noise in the dash (but not under the hood) which was not there previously- this hissing noise goes away when accelerating and returns when cruising. I don't notice anything obvious under the hood with hoses, leaks, excessive compressor noise, etc. Another probably unrelated item I noticed is that the temp dial will not stay all the way at the hottest position- it backs off about 1/2". It will stay at the coldest temp position. Any suggestions for me to test or try on my own prior to visiting the "stealer" for repairs?
