Update: Oil pressure lamp inoperative

Based on Dean's posting yesterday, I my oil pressure switch on the back of the engine. When I grounded the switch, the lamp came on. Therefore, I believe that my switch is bad as well.
This means that my shop/dealer, Kuni Saab-Cadillac, is really lousy at fixing/troubleshooting Saabs. When I took it in to them last week to have this inoperative lamp fixed, they said the switch wasn't bad, they disassembled the dash to determine whether the lamp was burnt out (it wasn't), and they determined that a circuit board in the dash had a short circuit on it. They are currently trying to get pricing for a new circuit board.
Based on the test I've just performed, there is nothing wrong with the circuit board, there's just something wrong with the troubleshooting skills at Kuni Saab-Cadillac. Guess I now need to pay them (or somebody else) to replace this switch in my car.
On the positive side, the Check Engine lamp isn't likely illuminated due to a bad circuit board, so if I can get it to stay on long enough to drive to the shop, they should be able to diagnose it as well.
