I have done it.

I removed the low pressure line from the reservoir where it connects to the pump. Put the open end in a 1 gallon milk jug, cover the opening with a rag so you don't get sprayed with fluid. Get another rag and cover the cap of the reservoir, there is a little hole in the cap that will shoot fluid out. Have assistant turn on car and rotate the wheels to full lock left and right until fluid no longer comes out. Turn off car and fill reservoir with fresh fluid. Start car again and bleed system by turning steering wheel to full lock left and right. Keep topping up with fluid until full.

Use Power steering fluid!
