This is neither a hard starting problem nor an idling problem. Once the car starts to crank, it starts as if it were a new car. It just doesn't crank immediately as it always used to. When the key is turned to start, nothing happens... then all of a sudden the engine cranks and comes to life. This pause is bothering me as I would assume something is not working properly.
