4 bar might not have a positive effect, and might make it run worse unless you go back and get BSR to factor that into the ECU program...Abbott HO boxes boost up to 1.3 bar on the stock fuel components, so I'm not sure you'd see an improvement.
You might have a more mundane problem, like a leaky vac hose, dirty injectors, etc. A few people had their FPRs fail lately, that could lead to strange issues if it's leaking a bit internally. I had the vac hose to mine crumble and that produced some full-throttle weirdness.
Also, the fuel pressure cut is *very* violent, it's kind of like the rev limiter, it puts the engine out of fuel for about 1 whole second, less like a judder and more like a big bang. (It scares the crap out of my wife!) Judder might mean the ECU is seeing something it doesn't like. Ruling out the DI is good, go after tuneup items next.
