My 1996 900S 2.3l has a similar problem - and only in cold weather.
Unfortunately it happens very, very rarely - like once every 5 weeks or so - and only in colder weather.
I will try spraying contact cleaner in the door switches and see if that helps, but due to it's infrequency I would imagine it'd be hard to trace
I wonder if the dealer is able to use Tech-II and find out what triggered the last alarm.....
If yours is having false alarms fairly regularly, at least try ruling out the interior motion sensor, by disabling with the button each time you leave the car.
