Damn these cars. I haven't owned one in two years and it seems that I am destined to get back into one. I truly have the love hate relationship happening here. I am currently looking at a higher mileage 96 Turbo 900S. The car has 120,000 miles on it, it looks to be in good shape and the price is somewhat fair at $6900. My first Saab an 85 Sport had the same mileage and ran incredibly well to 200,000 until it was rear ended.

My concern is around what are the big ticket problems I can anticipate with this car. MY 94 turbo has A/C failure, rubber struts failed at a ridiculous repair cost and erratic idle. I am hoping some of these issues have been dealt with over the period between 94-96.

Any thoughts??
