My mom hit a cement block (piece of a bridge had come undone) about the height of curb doing 55-60 mph. Car went airborn, didn't lose control or anything though. She pulled off the highway (along with 6 other cars who also hit it) and shut off the engine. She realized that the floor panel was up in a hump under her feet. After checking the tires and what not, she got in and tried to start it, but nothing. Had it towed to the mechanic, and the entire bottom panel of the car was ripped open from the front to the back, such that if you pulled up the rug, oops! there was the ground! All the wires had been cut (posing fire risk) and the anti-theft system computer was destroyed ( its right under the seat). Oddly enough, there was no suspension damgage at all. The tire later went flat. Sorry about ur accident.
