If you're going to do it yourself, it's a pretty easy job. Just unscrew it from the exhaust manifold underneath, trace the wiring harness (might be a couple clips holding it along the way)up to the red connectors on the top driver's side of the engine (oops--- that's for the 2ltr-- not sure about the v-6). If you have a 3 wire Bosch, you can buy the oe Saab replacement at a greatly inflated cost--- (I think it was $140.00 US the last time I checked at a dealer.) A cheaper alternative is to pick up a 3 wire Bosch unit at an auto parts store/internet source that I think fits VW, Mustangs, etc. It's less than a third of the cost (I think mine was about $40.00) of the Saab fitted one. You have to cut and splice the wires onto the wires of the old unit though. If you do, use as much of the new harness as you can, because this will allow you to keep the splice up high and out of road spray. Make sure to solder well, and tape the hell out of it with electrical tape so that no water migrates into the splice. Mine has worked well for years. By the way, I've been told that o2 sensors are either good, or bad. There's no in between.
