I have a 95 900SE V6 with 121,000 and LUV it. As Bill said I think the most important thing with the 2.5L is Maintenance especially changing the timing belt. As long as you follow the suggested Saab Maintenance Schedule you should be fine. My engine is still Strong and I luv to put a hurting on those unsuspecting Japanese imports. If you can get it for a good price buy it. Keep this board listed in your favorites and you will have a Great resourse tool for doing a majority of your own services. This place has been a god send. You can usually do a search and find listings on about anything you need information on. My first suggested mod to do would be to get a heatgun and remove the flat black tape on the door pillars. Mine was in bad condition. Guess what? It is painted underneath and looks a 1000% better without the tape. The other mod I made that has had a huge difference in vision is taking apart the headlight housings and cleaning the lenses inside and out and removing the metal housing the sits directly in front of the Bulb. Saabs are notorious for not having enough light at night. This one mod has brought mine back to more than acceptable performance. As a note I have not been flashed one time for having TOO bright a light to oncoming traffic. The other thing is to readjust the headlights verticle setting to satisfy yourself. The factory bubble setting just doesn't work. I raised mine significantly.
Just my two cents worth....
