To be honest with you, I don't know that there's any such thing as a "small" head gasket leak, at least when it comes to blowing coolant into oil. These things just get worse and worse.
If you're lucky, maybe the emulsion in your oil is caused by condensation. The engine may not be coming up to temperature due to a stuck open thermostat. What does your temp gauge read after about 5 minutes running? It should be fully at 9 o'clock, straight left. This might also explain the CE light.
If you turn the ignition key on without starting, the CE light will blink in a set of pulses. Count the series of blinks. If you search engine codes on this board, you'll probably find a list. (I think FSIK posted the codes for the 4 cylinder last year. Search his posts for them.)
My dealer quoted $1100 US for replacing the head gasket. You can probably get a competent indie to do it for $600 to $800.
