While I really like my '97 SETC and its a good driving car, its not the best car ive ever driven in any way. If you listen to (some of) the people here they will tell you that SAABs are better than anything, no matter what the circumstances, and thats simply not true. The best car i had in the snow so far, was my '92 300GT VR4 which had all wheel drive. No ground clearance, which became a problem a couple times, but for the most part the thing could drive over anything. My roomate had a land rover which was also excellent in the snow (or mud or whatever). I'm guessing your 4WD will probably be better and feel safer in the snow, just dont get like most of those SUV owners that think that 4WD means you can stop on ice and drive like there is no snow, just because you dont feel it. With 4WD you wont know your getting loose till your spinning in circles so dont push it.
