I read somewhere on this board there is a TSB about the window squeaking/rattling its caused by the seal between the top and the glass, I think. My car creaks when its cold, but seems to get better once it warms up, it doesn't creak at all in the summer. It was super creaky the day it was parked outside and -6F. Brrr. Hooray for heated seats!
Still I find the car surprisingly quiet on the freeway. Its much quieter than our Forrester. And with the top down, its waaay quiter than with the sunroof open on the Forrester. Dang thats one loud bad deisgn on that car.
I wonder if a top conditioner would help with the lines on your top? The folks on the board recommend the one that porche makes. Is it really wear or just some ground in dirt? I notice my top gets dirt lines on it (and tons of lil white fuzzies...grrr) that just vaccum off. I notice this happens more if I put the top down when its still damp. I wish there was a way to keep the dirt off the tonneau. I hate when you put the top down and have a dirt outline on the tonneau. Sooo classy.
