It might be the battery. My guess is that after starting it in cold wheather it need some time to recharge. Braking hard might create all the electrical stuff to require more curent. It does not bother me so much since it's only when cold and only for a few minutes.

Basically to reproduce it: Drive car when cold, get it to speed, put in neutral and hit the brakes hard until the car stops. The last seconds before the car stops the idle will go down and up between 600-1200 rpm. Once stopped the idle comes back to normal.

Any suggestions?
