New part number for belt (short belt modification)

I just did the short belt modification and also put the new idler pulley in.
Went to the GM dealer (canadian) and asked part number 10-085-752, told them that it was an american number. They said that the canadian number is the same but without the dashes. They came out with another number for the belt, 88986814 , but didn't have it in stock. So I went to another dealer and didn't have it either so I ordered one for the next day. The price is $49.45 cdn.
Went also to the Canadian Tire store and bought a belt, Power torque 970K6 for $29.95 cnd. But the grooves were narrower and I wasn't too confident with that belt, so I took the GM belt.
The modification was easy but do not drop the pulley on a concrete floor like I did. I had my hands full and dropped it twice and twice the plastic pulley ($53.35 cdn at the dealer) broke (side of the groove) but the damage wasn't too bad.
Will post a link soon where I will show a step by step procedure with pictures (I had to try my new digital camera!).
