Help? Attempting to remove timing cover!

Trying to remove the timing cover in my 96' 900 S Turbo. So far I have got the water pump, power steering pump, crankshaft pulley and center pulley off. I have also removed all the torx screws that hold the cover as well as the 4 bolts. (2/Pan and 2/Head)
I have the Haynes manual but I have a feeling it isn't be 100% correct. ie. it doesn't mention the removal of pulleys, and it writes as if the power steering pump and alternator are on the same side.
Do I have to remove the alternator and the tensioner? The alternator doesn't seem to be in the way of the cover. I'm not sure how to get the tensioner off, there is a big metal bracket which I think is part of the assembly (between the tensioner and the engine stretching to near the oil filler tube), I got 3 bolts off but one is hiding behind the alternator.
The cover won't move so I'm assuming I missed something or the above has to be removed?
Any help would be appreciated!
