What sensor tells engine management the temperature of the engine upon start up. Is it the coolant temp sensor? And what is the part number? I am trying to rid my car (1995 SET 120K miles) of a hard start problem which occurrs only on hot days (not all) when the car has been sitting for 10+ hours: problem may be that the car thinks it is hot when it isn't and gives a spark too small to start the cold engine. Thanks Makis. Could a bad DI cassette produce my problem? Anyone have a different diagnosis? Also, anyone ever have to replace the intake air temp sensor? THANKS ALL.

The following is the only component (sensor or/and sender??? - I dunno) offered by eEuroparts.com:

Coolant temp sensor (sender) for any 94-mid 97(up to engine #V002172) 900 or 9000 4cyl. If you can find the engine #, the correct p/n is located on the side of the head of the sensor. Genuine Saab.
