I had the same thing a few years ago.
I took the glass panel out, put it upside-down on a towel on the kitchen table, and used butyl winsheild seal around the inside perimeter of the seal. You can get the stuff at most parts stores. It is usually a pre-made bead of the sealer that is rolled up around a non-stick backing paper. Get the smallest bead size you can. I had to get 3/8 inch which is a pain since I had to stretch and roll it into a smaller bead.

Basically I worked tha material, with my fingers, into the uderside of the glass/frame where the glass meets the metal frame. The material is black and when you put the platic trim back on you dont see it much. You can use rubbing alchohol on your fingertips to smooth the final look. I did all the way around since I did't know where the leak was. Where it drips isn't always where the leak is.

The stuff sticks to everything and never realy gets hard. My fix has been in place for about 3 years now without a leak. You will have lots of left over seal but that's OK it is grat to have around for other leaks (low/no pressure) that you need to fix.

Probably less messy ways but there is zero cure time to this one and there can still be trapped water between the glass and fram...as your most certainly has. Total job time was about 2 hrs including the trip to NAPA to get the seal.
